Orientate the H6Essentials
Orientate the H6Essentials on a desk with the display closest to you.
On the end furthest away from you will be a cap. This is used to protect the connections for the microphone attachments available. When you take the H6Essentials out-of-the-box, there will be a protective cap that needs to be removed from the unit. Remove this cap by pressing down on the switch, and slide the cap off of the unit.
In the box you'll find the XY Microphone adapter, slide this adapter on to the H6Essentials in place of the cap. When you don't have the microphone attachment connected, it's highly recommended to use the cap or an alternative accessory to protect the connection.
